We’re heading to the USA and Ireland!

This autumn we’re going on our third international tour with Things Hidden Since the Foundation of the World, heading to USA’s West coast, Ireland and Maryland for the first time.

We’re thrilled to announce that we’re going to Seattle in September to present our show at On the Boards in Seattle as the only UK company of their exciting boundary-pushing 24-25 season, co-presented with Boom Arts. In 2021, we showed our digital presentation of Rich Kids: A History of Shopping Malls in Tehran at On the Boards, but this time will be our first time to be there in person, which we are very much looking forward to.

Then we’re heading down to Portland to take part in Portland Institute for Contemporary Art’s prestigious Time Based Art (TBA) Festival 2024, featuring an ambitious and radical programme of voice and noise. In its 21st year, we’re excited to join Portland’s favourite celebration of contemporary art for the first time in person since digitally presenting Rich Kids: A History of Shopping Malls in Tehran there in 2021.

Travelling down the Pacific Coast, we’ll be in Los Angeles presenting Things Hidden at UCLA’s Center for the Art of Performance’s historic theatre, The Nimoy. We’re excited to be part of their 24-25 season featuring over 80 visionary artists, representing over 10 countries!

Then, in October, we’re heading to Dublin Theatre Festival for the first time, where we’re excited to present our show to new audiences as part of a jam-packed festival programme of 35 productions and 17 world premieres, from 9 countries across the world.

And finally, we’ll return to the USA, but this time to the East Coast, to Washington D.C. to present at The University of Maryland’s The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center in November, as part of their 24-25 season.

Since premiering at HOME, Manchester in 2022, Things Hidden Since the Foundation of the World has travelled to three continents, reached nearly 7000 people and garnered critical acclaim across the world.

We’re excited to bring Things Hidden to new audiences and theatres this autumn and hope to see you there.
